Mike recently bought a 20 foot flagpole to put in our front yard so he can display the flag like a proud American. In the box we found a piece of paper titled U.S. Flag Etiquette, Facts and Information. Without looking up the answers on Google, how well do you know your flag?
What are the meanings of the colors on the flag?
What is the Pledge of Allegiance?
How should one stand when saying the Pledge?
How many stripes appear on the flag?
Of that number, how many are red and how many white?
What do the stripes represent?
How many stars appear on the flag?
What do the stars represent?
I will post the answers on Flag Day... do you know when Flag Day is?
Leave your answers in the comments section of this post and I will have a prize for one winner chosen randomly. Have Fun!
