Randomness

I know it's been a while since I've posted much of anything so here is a quick update to get you all caught up to date.

A few weeks ago we had a visit from Paul's cousin Phil and his family.  It was fun having them here and getting to know them.

They were on their way to California to a Robotics competition.  Here is one of two robots that they were transporting.

I sold my bedroom furniture since we are in the process of getting things ready to move.  My bedroom will be larger in the new house so I have decided to upgrade from a twin size bed.

This is the latest picture I have taken of the house.  I haven't been by for a few days since I was away dog siting.  However, tomorrow we have a frame walk through so I hope to get more pictures to update everyone on the progress.

Kathy and I had the opportunity to attend the Spring Ladies Retreat at Camp Ironwood.

Since we were driving to California Kathy decided we should leave the night before and head to the nearest Chick-Fil-A.  We love Chick-Fil-A!

At the retreat we do a church challenge and our church won for the first time.  We were so shocked, it was a GREAT surprise!

I've been staying busy with my cat and dog sitting jobs.  It's nice to be able to help others and also give Kathy and Paul some time alone.

We are coming to a close with teaching Sunday School at church.  It has been such a joy to watch these children grow.

When we started teaching the littles, these two precious boys spent the entire time playing in the nursery section, but for the last few months they actually sit with the other children and they listen to the Bible story.

Card making has also been keeping me busy... between making Angry Birds cards for my nephew Roger's birthday...

and making personalized Multi Purpose cards for some men at church...

and making 150 wedding invites for a friend getting married the end of July.

Kathy and I have made several trips to Hobby Lobby to look around and get ideas for decorating the new house.  It's amazing all that Hobby Lobby has.  We were playing around when we took this picture of me with this HUGE mug.

I am sorry I have been away for so long and I hope to get myself back on track with posting on my blog more frequently.  Until the next time...
