On the last day of our cruise we decided to go on the galley tour. It was very interesting to see how everything is done in the galley.
over one and a half million guest meals are prepared annually everything runs like a well oiled machine

An average weekly grocery list:

  • 10,000 pounds of beef
  • 8,000 pounds of poultry
  • 6,000 pounds of fish and sea food
  • 3,000 pounds of pork
  • 12,500 pounds of fruits and vegetables
  • 4,500 pounds of flour
  • 1,400 pounds of sugar
  • 1,000 gallons of ice cream
  • 900 gallons of juice
  • 1,200 gallons of milk

Reminds me of our time on the ship! Just the word galley conjures up memories. Our kids would have much more to say because they snuck in there...they have stories!
