So Confused

I have such a mix of emotions.  On one hand I have learned to be content in the situation God has me in (Philippians 4:11) but on the other hand I long for a husband so much that I start second guessing myself and thinking that maybe I'm not content.  I'm just so confused.  I know God's grace is sufficient for me (2 Corinthians 12:9) and I know God is my protector (Psalm 68:5). While I was having my MRI done I was laying there praying thru it and I was praying about a husband and whether or not it was the Lord's will for me to remarry.  Looking around in my life there are no eligible Christian men anywhere which is fine because that makes it very clear to me that God does not want me to remarry.  Then I started thinking maybe I need to be more intentional about it. Have I mentioned I'm full of lots of mixed emotions.

First Week Update

A month ago I had totally different plans for today.  My plans were to be leaving on a cruise for a week with Mike's family but God had other plans for me when I had that gran mal seizure. This was my first full week on medication and wow what an adventure it was.  The side effects were interesting.  At first it really messed with my head.  Made my head feel cloudy, hard to process clearly.  Then I got super powers.  My smell and hearing were extra super duper sensitive.  I didn't know how I was going to survive taking this medication the rest of my life with these super powers especially since I was only taking half the dosage right now as I was getting started.  Well, I am happy to report that my body must be getting use to the medication because I don't have those crazy side effects any more.  I am now taking the full dosage of medication and all seems to be going well. Monday I have an MRI appointment and Thursday I have an EEG appointm...

Prayer Request

Image
UPDATE:  Thank you all for prayers.  I have an EEG scheduled in two weeks and I'm waiting to hear back to get an MRI scheduled.  When I left the doctor's office yesterday I told the doctor I didn't want to be on medicine but yesterday afternoon I had another "dejavu" episode which has caused Mom and Kathy to be on pins and needles about me having another seizure so I called the doctor today to get a prescription.  I am now taking seizure medication to see if it will help prevent any future seizures or even "dejavu" episodes from happening.   picture of some beautiful flowers I received yesterday from a friend If you haven't already seen on Facebook, this past Friday, Kathy and I were on our way home from work and I had a seizure. Kathy drove me right to the hospital, although she will tell you God drove because she doesn't remember driving - she was so focused on holding me so I wouldn't hurt myself.  It took five people to g...
