P365 ~ Week 38
A rough start to the week when the coffee maker dies but I learned a good tip, run white distilled vinegar thru the machine every 3 months to keep it running smoothly.
Kathy and I did some cleaning out of our kitchen cabinets. We just found out about a neighborhood garage sale that we can participate in. I am so excited to get some things organized here in the house.
We had a fall card class and Christy was the only one who was able to attend but that made for a great one on one lesson on making cards. It was fun and got me in the mood for fall.
These are the two cards we made together and then she got a chance to be creative and create her own card design. I didn't get a picture of it but she did a wonderful job. I will have to get a picture and share it with you next week.
We went to this restaurant that has this wall of mugs... I found out that the mugs are from their regular customers who are encouraged to bring a mug from home, leave it there to use whenever they come in and they get free coffee for using their own mug... how cool is that?!? I thought it was a great idea!
I'm getting a head start and making some Christmas cards to have on hand. This is my first batch. Hoping to come up with another design this week.
We had a chance to go over to a friends house and play with a new cool crafting machine called a Silhouette Cameo. We had fun cutting out some items in vinyl and can't wait to play some more in the days to come.
I found a cute card on Pinterest and had to make a few at home. Aren't these adorable?
Closing my post with these beautiful flowers Kathy bought at the grocery store. Aren't these roses gorgeous? The vase is really cool too because it is a unique shape.
I hope you have had a great week. I'm going to Sara's to read all about it.

P365 ~ Week 37
Somehow I totally forgot to share these two pictures last week... Kathy planned our first L.I.F.T. (Ladies In Fellowship Together) activity.... dinner out at the Melting Pot. Wonderful fellowship and delicious food... it was a GREAT evening.
This week I was in North Las Vegas dog sitting this adorable dog.
Since I was further north I was able to spend some time with some families from church who I don't normally get to see often because of us living so far apart from each other. These two precious boys are the youngest children in the two families I spent time with this week.
It started pouring and Miss A was thoroughly enjoying the rain. It's a real treat when it rains here in Vegas.
I played Candy Land with this sweet little guy while his older siblings were being home schooled.
I was invited to tag along to a Wild Tree party. I had never heard of the company and since I thought it would be fun. The ladies who signed up for the party all went with their coolers full of meat and veggies in ziplock bags. The bags on the table were full of recipes, oils and seasonings. Each lady that participated was able to go home with 15 meals in ziplock bags. Can you imagine having 15 meals in the freezer ready to use. I am going to look into hosting one of these parties.

P365 ~ Week 36
Michael was in town last week. He stayed at New York, New York. We were able to see him every night which was a nice surprise since we thought he would be super busy with the convention.
We went to a fabulous restaurant and Michael ordered a 30oz Porterhouse steak. Michael, Kathy and I all ate some and we still had lots left over.
I'm back to my early morning walking...I love the colors in the sky as the sun is coming up.
Sad to say I wasn't able to spend much time in the craft room this week but here is one card I made.
We tried out a new Indian restaurant with Michael and I have to say that I like Indian food but the one thing I have found is that the service is always really slow. I am wondering if this is normal for all Indian restaurants.
We took Michael out for breakfast before dropping him off at the airport. It was nice being able to see him and spend some time with him.
I'm back to cat sitting... I had a few weeks off so it was nice to get back into it.
After a busy week, Kathy and I had the chance to take a break and get pedicures. We tried a new type of pedicure called a Jelly pedicure... the water had little beads in it... it was interesting but Kathy and I both agree we like our Ice Cream pedicures better.
Another happy Lilla Rose customer... I had to share this picture because I love how she did her braid and then added her flexi clip... Just gorgeous!
I know I'm late this week but still going to check out Sara's blog and see how everyone is doing.

Obedience
If there is something the devil wants you to do—resist it.
If there is something the flesh wants you to do—crucify it.
If there is something your dream wants you to do—surrender it.
If there is something self wants you to do—deny it.
If there is something personal ambition wants you to do—let go of it.
If there is something the world wants you to do—don’t conform to it.
If there is something God wants you to do—embrace it; obey it; rejoice in it; give thanks for it.
Do it willingly; do it faithfully, do it whole-heartedly, do it without delay!
To obey is better than sacrifice. 1 Samuel 15:22

P365 ~ Week 35
This week my first ever Lilla Rose review was completed by a dear friend. She and her sisters all used the flexi clip to made beautifully feminine hair styles.
We had a family church meeting and I sat on the floor and enjoyed some time with this precious little boy!
Megan (my niece) put her first ever Lilla Rose flexi clip in her hair... she loved it and I have to say she looks really cute!
Enjoyed a beautiful sunrise on one of my walks this week. I am so thankful for the cat sitting job I have which gives me an opportunity to get some exercise time in.
I hung up the three crosses I bought from Haitian Creations. I thought they fit perfectly in this wall space next to the medicine cabinet in my bathroom. Seeing them every day also reminds me that I need to pray for Heartline ministries and Haitian creations.
Kathy, Paul and I went to watch The Phantom of the Opera for one last time. They do there final performance here in Las Vegas on September 2nd.
We took advantage of the three day weekend and drove to Rancho Cucamonga to stay at our favorite hotel - The Hyatt Place
I took advantage of the gym in the hotel.
We enjoyed some meals at Chick-Fil-A.
And even spent some time by the pool.
This was a much needed break which I am very thankful we were able to take.
I really enjoy Rancho Cucamonga and would actually love to move here. Maybe one day!
Now I'm heading over to Sara's to see how your week was.
