Prayer Request

UPDATE:  Thank you all for prayers.  I have an EEG scheduled in two weeks and I'm waiting to hear back to get an MRI scheduled.  When I left the doctor's office yesterday I told the doctor I didn't want to be on medicine but yesterday afternoon I had another "dejavu" episode which has caused Mom and Kathy to be on pins and needles about me having another seizure so I called the doctor today to get a prescription.  I am now taking seizure medication to see if it will help prevent any future seizures or even "dejavu" episodes from happening.

If you haven't already seen on Facebook, this past Friday, Kathy and I were on our way home from work and I had a seizure. Kathy drove me right to the hospital, although she will tell you God drove because she doesn't remember driving - she was so focused on holding me so I wouldn't hurt myself.  It took five people to get me settled down in the emergency room.  I don't remember any of it.

While I was in the ER,  they did blood work, x-rays and a CAT scan.  All tests came back normal and I was released about four hours later.

Tomorrow I have an appointment with a neurologist. Please pray that we will get some answers.  I have no idea why I had a seizure and although I don't really remember anything I experienced, I know it was really traumatizing to Kathy and I don't want to constantly have everyone on pins and needles wondering if/when I am going to have another seizure.

I am not worried about dying because my faith is in the work Jesus Christ did on the cross for my sins.  I just want to make sure my life brings glory to God till the very end.

2 Timothy 4:7-8 ~ I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Romans 14:8 ~  For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

John 11:25-26 ~ Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Ephesians 2:8-9 ~ For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Elizabeth, I have been in a very tough season in my ministry and so have not been blogging or visiting blogs for a while. I feel God just led me to yours this morning so I could read this. Please know that I am praying for you and the doctors as they search for the culprit!!
