P365 ~ Week 7

Project 365 button designed by http://richgift.blogspot.com

Sunday
Kathy made us sandwiches for dinner. She made it a very well balanced meal and it was super yummy too! Monday
My computer at work died about a week ago and to get me back up and running so I could work we pulled an old computer out of the storage area. I thought the computer I had was slow but when I got the replacement it was even slower. I couldn't believe that was possible. Needless to say later on in the week we bought a new computer. I am VERY THANKFUL for the faster computer. I feel like I can actually work now. Tuesday
I got this lovely hand made card from a fellow stamper. I just love the embossed papers. Wednesday
Paul plays pool (billiards) on Wednesday nights so Kathy and I have girls night. This week Paul got home extra early and totally surprised Kathy with 6 dozen flowers... you did good Paul! Thursday
We had Pam and Peter over for dinner. We are so thankful for them! You will probably be hearing me mention them often this year. They live about 5 minutes away from us so I can imagine we will be spending lots of time together this year! Friday
I thought I hit the jackpot with this $10 coupon that printed out for a cookie mix but when it was scanned at the register I only received $1 off. I would be interested to know if the manufacturer pays the grocery store $1 or $10 for this coupon. Saturday
We had our first card class for 2011. I was shocked at the great turnout. I think we had 12 ladies come. It was fun to watch them create. To most this was a new experience but everyone enjoyed it. We will be planning more card classes in the future but we will probably split them into two groups. That just means more stamping fun for me!

After we got home from the card class and got a few things done around the house, Paul decided we needed to get out of the house and do something...so, we went bowling. I hadn't been bowling in forever... and you can tell by my horrible score. No matter what my score, I had fun!
How was your week?

I LOVE to bowl - and my score is usually about what yours was :) If I break 100 then I want to celebrate!

I really should get back into card making. I haven't made any in FOREVER, & I have all the supplies & buying cards is so expensive... Ooh - I think you've talked me into it :)

I have a funny story about bowling... I took it as a class in college for my required PE credit. But nobody told me our grade would be based on our improvement. I bowled my best game all semester that very first game. It was all downhill (and in the gutter) from there. LOL

Amazing how a fast computer can make us smile :) For us, it's the internet speed. It was SUPER slow in January when we had tons of tourists in town. Still a lot of tourists this month, but not so many and the internet speed has increased exponentially. Yay!

Looks like a fun and busy week! So happy you're doing P365 this year :)

Amazing array of flowers.
You sisters are so good at enjoying life and supporting one another and reaching out to others!
Wonderful that you are leading card-making classes. Sooooo fun to have that creative experience of designing and making a beautiful card!
