Joshua 1:8
I want to hide God's word in my heart that I might not sin against Him (Psalm 119:11) so I am going to challenge myself to memorize more scripture.
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Joshua 1:8

P365 ~ Week 26
Sunday - For Father's Day Paul worked hard and made a pen for each father at church. Monday - Kathy hit an awesome sale at Bath & Body Works. Can you tell what scents we like? Tuesday - I have really enjoyed reading A Woman Who Reflects the Heart of Jesus by Elizabeth George. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has not read it yet. I was borrowing this book and I am actually going to buy a copy for myself. Wednesday - Kathy, Lana, Jen and I got to enjoy some girl time... pedicures and sushi... it was a fabulous night! Thursday - If you are looking for a family movie this one is wonderful. Friday - I have so been enjoying some super delicious watermelon this season. Each one we have gotten has been so sweet and yummy! Saturday - While we were out at dinner Kathy and I both pulled out our phones to look something up and Paul felt left out so he pulled out both of his work phones and started playing around. I hope everyone had a good week and now am going to Sara's blog to see.

P365 ~ Week 25
Sunday - Paul is gifted musically. He teaches himself how to play instruments. He is very talented. Monday - I am enjoying my time watching Scout. Tuesday - My Pastor and his wife went to a Pastor's conference this week which opened up an opportunity for me to watch their 3 boys. Wednesday - I saw this book at the house I am watching and I thought it would be a great book to read. My goal is to read two chapters a day so I can get it done while I am house sitting. Thursday - Along with house and dog sitting, I am also watching over their pet turtle. I actually forgot his name but he is really easy to take care of and he is lots of fun to sit and watch. Friday - I found this new app called Collagraphy and had some fun playing around with it. Saturday - A friend from church shared a recipe with me this week and it sounded so good I had to try it right away.... Cilantro Lime Chicken. I will post the recipe later this week so be on the lookout.
Heading over to check out Sara's blog to see how everyone else is doing.

Michael's
Kathy and Paul decided to take me out for dinner last Friday night. Paul called it my retirement party since it was my last day of work.
Let me share some of the pictures I took. The quality may not be the best since I took it on my cell phone without flash but hopefully you can still see how amazing this restaurant is.
look at that beautiful ceiling
then they bring out the menu.... can you see something is missing? that is right... there were no prices listed on my menu or Kathy's menu but Paul's menu had the prices..isn't that interesting? French Onion Soup After the first course they give you lime sherbet to cleanse the pallet and prepare you for your main dish
I ordered the fresh sea bass. It was delicious! Then I went to the restroom and I was totally impressed. Not only do they only have cloth towels to dry your hands with...
they also offer hair spray, lotion and deodorant. Then it was time for dessert. This is Paul's cappuccino. See the cute little cookie spoon.
Kathy and I ordered coffee and look at the sugar we got. It is multi colored. This was Kathy's dessert... fresh berries with homemade whipped topping
then they bring some complimentary desserts... chocolate covered fruit and a big bowl of fresh fruits
I have never experienced anything like this before. It was a totally awesome experience.
