Project 365 ~ Week 22

I had a great week with Kathy. She is an amazing person and I am so blessed to have her as my sister.
We are at Starbucks enjoying some coffee, fellowship and relaxation. We got to spend some time catching up with Sarah and meeting Adam. I hadn't seen her in years so this was a special time. Tuesday we went back to the Indy airport to pick up Dad and then we drove to Winona Lake. Kathy wanted to do something special for Grandpa and Grandma so we cooked them dinner. I took a picture of their house because I wanted to have it for my scrapbook so I thought I would share it with you also.
During our stay in Fort Wayne we decided we better do some laundry. The laundromat we went to was old. Everything looked vintage!
Kathy and I got pampered at the nail salon. I love those massage chairs! We both got our toes done...
but I also got my fingernails done.
This was the gift the bridesmaids received. It has their name and the wedding date hand painted on the glass.
And finally, the long awaited wedding day arrived.
I am so loving the roses Mike had waiting for me when I got home :-)
Be sure to check out Sara's blog and all the other Project 365 participants!

Project 365 ~ Week 21

What a great week. It started with a celebration for Mike and I... celebrating 7 years of marriage. God has been so good to us and I thank the Lord for my wonderful husband.
This week I needed to create some baby girl cards... announcements, baby shower and thank yous... I got somewhat stuck on a certain combination of colors and now that I look at these cards I wonder if I should have used more variety in the color scheme... oh well, next time! Wednesday was a happy and sad day all in one... it was the first time we ever got a dozen eggs in one day but it was sad because when I went out to collect eggs one of our chickens was dead... not sure what happened but all the other chickens are fine
This is a name frame I made for brother and SIL to give to a couple that got married Saturday. I had a hard time getting a picture of this frame without a reflection but I think you get the idea with this picture.
Friday I spent the day at the airport. Mike dropped me off at the MARTA station early enough for him to get back to the house to be on time for work. I stayed close to this really cool little place called Relax and Recharge... it had a bunch of places that anyone could charge their laptop, cell phone or whatever. This came in real handy for me.
Kathy flew in late to Indianapolis so we took the airport shuttle to the hotel. Saturday morning we woke up and took the airport shuttle back to the airport to rent a car. We got a nice little Versa Nissan; I really like it. This was the sign at the rental car place... I thought it was neat so I took a picture.

I hope everyone has a safe holiday weekend. Be sure to go over to Sara's blog and read up!

Georgia Aquarium

Here are some pictures from our fun trip to the aquarium. Mike and I had a fabulous day together. We even got to see one of the fish tanks being cleaned out
These things are weird looking... they are called garden eels
I love how these pictures turned out. I guess the bright blue background it what makes it look so cool.
Lots and lots of fish... all different shapes, sizes and colors.
I had a hard time getting a picture of the top side of this shark but I still like this picture.
Mike and I watched a 3-D show at the aquarium, it reminded me of Finding Nemo.
This tank was set up for people to actually be able to put their hands in and touch the fish but not me... no thank you.
Isn't this a great looking guy :-)
Which way should I go?
There was a shrimp boat in the middle of the children's play area
They even have a snake... very beautiful bright green snake... of course I say beautiful because it is behind glass... not sure I would say that if it was in my yard.
Alligator? Crocodile? Well I am sure y'all know which they are... I don't remember.
Another shark that wasn't cooperating with me when I was taking pictures :-) stripes, stripes, and more stripes...
Another cool pictures (atleast I think so)
I had the hardest time getting this picture...there was alot of light reflecting off the glass for some reason.
Compare the size of the people to the size of some of these fish.... amazingly large fish!
I hope I didn't totally bombard you with too many pictures... I really enjoyed taking these pictures so I wanted to make sure I shared them.

More Wedding Pictures ~ Thanks Maureen

Maureen (my SIL) was nice enough to email me some more pictures of my wedding. It is hard to believe it's been 7 years (or 2557 days)... thinking back ~ Rachel wasn't even born, Roger wasn't walking yet, we were living in Ocala, working for Cingular... it's amazing to think how everything is always changing in life...I am so grateful that God is unchanging...He is the same yesterday, today and forever...Amen!

Thanks again Maureen for finding these pictures and emailing them to me!

Spreading the Word & Chickens Everywhere
