Refuge

The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2

During our most difficult times God's word is such a source of comfort!

Though this was a promise given specifically and directly to Joshua and Israel, there is an application for us, also. Our enemy may not be people, but doubt and questioning. Nonetheless, we can count on the everlasting arms which serve as a safety net to protect us from disaster, and then wrap us in His love.
