Olive Nativity

This is a very special Nativity that my parents brought back from Israel. It was hand carved out of olive wood and if you get real close you can still smell olives.

Seeing the shop where they were made by a Palestinian Christian in Bethlehem and smelling the scent of olive branches in that shop's basement was an experience I will never forget.
